I took a faimily trip to Canada for about a week over the summer of 2026 and it was incredible. It was great to see family I haven't seen in a while and also to see a new part of the world I've never been to, prior to this trip I had never been out of the country. We traveled to Calgary, Canmore and Banff, Canada. We engulfed outselves in the scenery of the white north and I saw some of the most beautiful views I've ever seen. One specific spot that resonated with me was this view of Lake Louise in Banff National Park. Fun fact, I learned that the greenish color is theorized to be from green silty rock being crushed and grinded under huge icebergs that would melt and being the color down into the lake.
The summer of 2025 I went on a duo climbing trip with my buddy Cory to Soddy Daisy, Tennessee. We went for a week and a half and explored the woods to our hearts content. A couple of the days we made our way through the woods down the mountain we were staying on until we reached creek Chickamauga. After a long day of hiking we cooled off further down stream and that's where this picture below was taken. This was one of the best trips I've ever been on.
My first duo trip I've been on and we visited their home town, Salt Lake City, Utah to see their brother. We traveled around Sandy via train which felt like a luxury coming from Texas. We visited their friends and family, climbed and hiked through various trails but one of the most notible was our walk through Big Cottonwood Canyon. It was an amazing experience walking throughout the Utah mountains with some of the friends I consider family.
